Gundog Breeder and Trainer
We are David & Jayne Barber and we run a working gundog kennels alongside our Game Farm in North Devon. Our main breeds of Gundog are Labrador Retrievers, Working Cocker Spaniels and Springer Spaniels.
David, has been training gundogs for 30 years and ensures every dog is home trained to a very high standard. Our training ground is well stocked with game birds ensuring all dogs are experienced in the field and steady to game.
Gundog Puppies
We only breed puppies from selected bitches, that are good quality stock with outstanding pedigrees and perfect temperaments.
Puppies are usually available only in late spring/summer months, because our females are working during the winter season. Puppies leave here well socialised with children at 8 weeks old.
Stud Dogs
We have fantastic stud dogs at Anneryvalley Gundogs and pride ourselves on their nature, breeding and ability in the field. We have a first rate selection Labrador, Cocker Spaniel and Springer Spaniel stud dogs which are available all year.
All our dogs are worked regularly throughout the shooting season on commercial shoots.
Gundog Training
We take a limited number of dogs to be trained each year. They are trained with patience and skill to a high standard making them perfect in the field and steady to game.
Part and fully trained gundogs are also for sale throughout the year.
CSJ Dog Food Supplier
Our dogs are all fed on CSJ Dog Food, we find it keeps them in perfect condition. We feed the natural champ range to all our adult dogs. Our puppies are reared on natural little champ. We are stockists of the Champ varieties, also stock a range of gluten free dog food and can provide other varieties of the CSJ range if pre-ordered.
